Consultant / Senior Consultant
Valtera is seeking to fill a Consultant/Senior Consultant position to work in both its Organizational Assessment & Research and Selections & Assessment practice areas (level will be commensurate with experience). Duties of the job include consulting with clients regarding survey design, survey processes, data analysis and interpretation, feedback and action planning, job analysis, test development and validation, performance measurement, data collection, and development of supporting materials (e.g., training programs, test brochures, etc.). Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and experience with survey development and data analysis (a minimum 1+ years - Consultant, 3-5 years - Senior Consultant). Superior project management, consulting, and data analysis skills are required. In addition, because the incumbent will have significant client interface, he or she should be highly skilled in written and oral communications.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology or a related field.
- Practical applied experience in organizational assessment and diagnostics, including employee attitude surveys, multi-rater surveys, performance management, etc.
- Practical applied experience in test development, validation, and implementation.
- Strong project management skills.
- Outstanding data management and analysis skills including in depth knowledge of and facility with SPSS.
- Knowledge of IRT, meta-analysis, and structural equation modeling techniques is a plus.
- Strong project management skills.
- Track record of producing publication-quality research.
- Outstanding data management and analysis skills.
- Strong communications skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work in a team with challenging goals and deadlines and assume lead role for projects.
